The Stone Sky Water series explores geological time and Himalayan cosmologies through an engagement with the more-than-human world. Stone, sky, and water become elemental forces and presences, offering ways to consider deep time, transformation, interdependence, and the continual emergence of form. Through direct observation and spontaneous creation, the paintings develop through a process of looking, feeling, and responding to the intelligence of place.
